In general teaching instruments in schools, an optical microscope is a commonly used teaching equipment, mainly composed of a base, eyepiece, objective lens, barrel, mirror arm, and other parts. Mainly used for observing microstructures and cells in biological experiments. According to the latest revised "General Higher Education Examination Outline - Biology", the main experiments currently using microscopes are:
1. Observe various cells; 2. Observe the cytoplasmic wall separation of cells; Observing the silk division of cells is a teaching and examination scope that students need to master.
2. Hunan Huitongren Education Equipment Co., Ltd., as a manufacturer of teaching instruments in Hunan, has compiled the steps and precautions for using microscopes:
When taking out and placing the microscope from the box, it is necessary to hold the mirror arm and base with both hands. Remember not to place it with one hand, gently place it, as the glasses may fall off and be damaged; When placed, the mirror arm faces itself; Avoid direct sunlight and keep the desktop flat neat;
3. Turn on the light source or adjust the reflector to allow the light beam to pass through the grating;
Carefully place the glass slide on the stage and adjust its position so that the part to be observed is located at the center of the light hole; Fix the two ends of the glass slide with spring plates;
4. First, observe the glass with a low magnification mirror, find the position to be observed, adjust the position of the glass so that it is at the center of the field of view. Note that the direction of movement of the glass is opposite to the direction of movement of the image observed in the eyepiece in the target area;
5. Rotate the coarse focus spiral and observe from the side with glasses to lower the objective lens to 0 above the glass slide About 5cm in height;
6. Observe from the eyepiece with the left eye, rotate the coarse focus screw to move the objective lens upwards, and adjust it until a clear image of the target object can be seen; Then adjust the clarity of the image using a rotating precision focus spiral.
Microscope is a precision optical instrument, and the following details should be noted when using traditional Chinese medicine:
The microscope should be handled with care, and held with both hands when taking it in and out;
Avoid direct contact with the lens and the parts of the slide that need to be observed by hand;
When lowering the lens barrel, it is necessary to observe the glasses from the side and place damaged glass slides and objective lenses;
When rotating the spiral, the action amplitude should be relatively small, and forced rotation should not be used to prevent thread damage;
